Laying the decking/paving is conceivably easy:
Wooden Paving
1. Cut out an area then cover it with sand and smooth it evenly out. Arrange the wooden paving right up next to one another, allowing for grouting.
2. Cover the surface with sand and fill with grouting
3. Subsequently compress the paved surface with a mallet or paving hammer (or pneumatic hammer)
4. Any remaining sand should be engrafted into the grouting. Please take into consideration that wood expands and contracts. We therefore recommend that some space is left at the edge in order to avoid the central area from rising up.
Wooden Tiles/ Terrace Decking
Use grit or gravel in order to obtain a level surface. It is possible to lay tiles on an existing surface. It is recommended to first of all lay an appropriate, dimensioned sub-structure that is made of square-edge timber onto which the flooring can be screwed to. A broad, level bargeboard is wise.
