Sawmill

In our new, highly modern sawmill, spruce timber from local forests is the main type of wood we work with.

We saw:

Stocks of upright square edge timber, in all standard dimensions e.g. from 80 x 80, 80 x 100, 100 x 100 to 160 x 160 mm
Crossed- and half-timber, which conform with the technical maximum sawing measurements of 180 mm in height and 280 mm in width e.g. crossed-timber to 140 x 140 mm, floorboards 50 x 280 mm.
Wedge-, Border planks, glue-laminated overlaps, KVH-raw products
in all types of cuts, lengths up to 6,50 m – intermediate lengths are possible
Assorted planks up to a length of 5 m, 23 mm thick – from 80 mm to 200 mm wide, for every 20 mm, they are 18 mm thick – 80 and 100 mm wide

All dimensions can be sawn with a raw wood finish; heat treatment in accordance with IPPC, on request can be planed, profiled and impregnated.

The Assinghausen mill, with a surface area of

220.000 square metres, today compromises of a

timber trade, two sawmills, a sorting plant, a

sorting and trimming timber plant, a drying area,

wood conversion- planning and impregnation plant,

as well as forest trade.

With our modern sawmills and the continuing process techniques for round wood, we have become a leader in the European market.
