Assembly Conditions

1. Preface


The following conditions apply with regards to assembly. As soon as the go-ahead to start work has been passed, our assembly conditions then take effect, even if no written letter of agreement exists.


2. Hourly Charge Rate


For everyone who is associated with the assembly, scheduled work, especially construction preparation, arrival and departure, effective assembly, subsequent assembly and miscellaneous, eg. waiting time, which is the fault of the customer, we currently charge:


49,50 € per hour

Assembly costs start at the beginning of (if the case may be) the much-required assembly preparation and finishes at the (if the case may be) subsequent assembly. Otherwise charges begin (as the case may be) end with the departure (as the case may be) or arrival in Assinghausen.

3. Over-time charge rate

The following overtime surcharges apply, should the standard working day of 8 hours be exceeded ie. night shift and Saturdays. These are hourly based (exceptions follow):
25 % surcharge for overtime for the first two working days and the first two Satuardays.
50 % surcharge for overtime every further working day, as well as each additional hour, and Saturday night or Sunday work.
100 % surcharge for work on public holidays, except the following days.
150 % surcharge for work on Christmas day, New Year and 1 May.

4. Travel expenses

Additional costs, like expenses for the employment of vehicles, day and overnight accommodation expenses (exception to day expenses please see No. 3 last paragraph) are at the expense of the customer. We currently charge:

Car usage
Using a car with 0.68 € / km
use of a car at 2.8 to 0.88 € / km
when using a truck 7,5 t 1.18 € / km
when using a truck over 7.5 to 1.75 € / km
when using public transport, the calculation based on expenses.

Per diem charges:

Assembly mechanic per day 31.25 € / day
Several days assembly per technician 39,50 € / day

Nights: The calculation is based on expenses.

5. Delivery

A direct accessibility to the building site for heavy vehicles must be ensured. The location of the equipment should be stated on the playground’s layout plan, or arrangement take place locally.


6. Ground and Foundation Works

 

• In order to implement the installation and embedding of the individuals element, which includes the ground and foundation work, the proposed area must be free from obstacles. If there are not any on-site storing possibilities for the accruing, excavated soil, it is advisable to provide a skip. The disposal of the excavated soil is the responsibility of the customer. If desired, we can provide removal at a cost.
• B 25 should be used for the foundation.
• Before beginning assembly, secured areas should be prepared by the customer. The customer can only bring in safety equipment after assembly of the equipment.

7. Installation of Play Equipment

 

• If the equipment is installed by us, all screws and connecting parts must be tightened by the customer after 10 days at the latest.
• Only after a week should moveable fixtures ie. swings, rope ladders etc be fitted in order to guarantee a good setting of the foundations. This work must be carried out by the customers themselves.
• A suitable barrier should be installed by the customer in order to prevent premature playing on new equipment direct after assembly. We are not liable should any accrued damage occur due to pre-mature use of the annex.
• Inspection of the equipment takes place directly after the construction is finished. Should no inspection takes place at this time on the part of the buyer, after a week it will then automatically be taken that the contract has been duly filled.
• The customer and the contractor will need to consult each other over any substantial additional or special work that has to be carried out as well as the declaration of hampered conditions. This will be recorded and counter-signed on confirmation of the assembly. Should there be no counter-signature from the buyer, the sole signature of our technical supervisor is validates it enough for the cost of the additional contribution and material in accordance with the appropriate costs.


8. Miscellaneous


The customer is responsible for medical treatment should any accidents occur during assembly. Should it take longer than a week during assembly, the manpower has the right to go home at the weekend. The customer will then be responsible for the travelling costs. The customer is responsible for supplying aids and assistants in a suitable manner free of charge to the technician. Furthermore, the customer is responsible for the protection of workers, ensuring the necessary measures in compliance with the safety regulations.
