PIEPER-HOLZ playground equipment is manufactured at its own premises and if desired, can be assembled by qualified experts.  Equipment assembly is computer aided and playground equipment design is produced by a modern CAD-machine and if desired, the during the assembly process individual playground equipment can be advised and decided on at any time. 

It is very important during designing that there be close cooperation between the contractors, the landscaping planners and the manufacturers.  Children and customer wishes will be integrated with the landscape and specific requirements in an individual playground plan.   

Playgrounds are multi-functional and a playground must fulfil children’s different needs.  The different play facilities must cater to age and each gender’s stage of development.  Specific site conditions ie. housing space and social structure come with it.  A playground should cover various different educational activities.  It is important that the ecological design should fit in with the landscaped layout including the type of ground available.  Children friendly playgrounds are also environmentally friendly playgrounds.   

PIEPER-HOLZ playground equipment can be combined with other different equipment.  For example: experimenting and assembly areas, movement activities, role play and fantasy areas, adventure areas: water, sand and wood, action and rest areas.  Children must be given as much freedom as they want, either on their own or in a group, in order to test their abilities on playground equipment which has been constructed to suit the different developmental stages.    

Assembly Details

• The light weight wood construction is glued with a weather-proof agent and colour design is processed with a special, non-fading, transparent wood primer.
• In order to seal the equipment, an additional 4-5 coatings need to be applied. This viscoplastic, crack-covering coating is completely weather and UV-enduring. This is characterised by its high elasticity, wear-resistance as well as it being steam-penetrable.
• Springers are always delivered with a ground anchor made of robust galvanised steel.
• a normal standard area is enough to fix the ground anchor, for sand areas the ground anchors should be covered with approx 20cm base concrete,
• High quality springs, 20mm thick, steel spring, central diameter 20cm, total height 40cm, surface covering with Epoxy,
• Self-safety nuts
• All screws and mounting are made of galvanised steel,
• Clamp safety through leaf spring handle, blocks the spring ensuring clamp safety. Even under extreme strain, there is no danger, should children put their hands between the springs
• all types of material are environmentally friendly and of a high quality.
• Playground equipment is guaranteed for 10 years as long as new high quality surface treatment is applied and it is maintained and cared for.
